Roles and Responsibilities :
Oversee the maintenance and repair of barges, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Coordinate with shipyard teams to plan and execute dry dockings, repairs, and refit projects.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend vessel lifespan.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and productive operation of the fleet.
Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Job Requirements :
Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance schedule.
Experience working on barges.
Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with marine engine maintenance and repair procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
