Job Summary:

We are looking for a UT Operator to perform ultrasonic testing of steel and alloy steel castings (500 kg25 MT) and ensure internal quality as per approved procedures, applicable standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasonic testing of steel and alloy steel castings as per approved procedures.
Calibrate UT equipment, select suitable probes and set reference blocks before inspection.
Detect, locate and evaluate internal defects such as shrinkage, porosity, cracks and inclusions.
Mark identified indications on castings and evaluate results against applicable acceptance criteria.
Prepare accurate UT inspection reports and maintain NDT records for traceability.
Coordinate with QA, Foundry and Methoding teams for defect analysis and corrective action.
Ensure protected handling and inspection of heavy castings and follow all safety procedures.

Required Skills: Valuable knowledge of UT testing, equipment calibration, defect interpretation, engineering drawings and applicable NDT standards, with solid attention to detail and reporting accuracy.
