Freelance Video EditorJob Summary

We are looking for a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented Freelance Video Editor to produce engaging video content for social media, advertisements, YouTube, websites, and promotional campaigns.

The ideal candidate understands visual storytelling, pacing, current content trends, and brand consistency. You should be able to transform raw footage into polished, skilled videos that capture attention and communicate the intended message clearly.

This is a remote freelance position with flexible working hours. Projects and deadlines will be assigned based on business requirements.

Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos
Create content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, advertisements, and other digital platforms
Trim and arrange clips to improve pacing and storytelling
Add captions, transitions, music, sound effects, graphics, and basic animations
Perform basic color correction, color grading, and audio enhancement
Resize and export videos according to different platform requirements
Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
Make revisions based on feedback
Manage multiple projects and deliver work within agreed deadlines




Organize project files and maintain proper file naming

Requirements
Previous experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role
A robust portfolio showing previous video-editing work
Proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
Positive understanding of video formats, frame rates, aspect ratios, and export settings
Strong knowledge of pacing, storytelling, music selection, and audience engagement
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
Reliable internet connection and access to a suitable editing computer
Ability to meet deadlines and handle revision requests professionally

Preferred Qualifications
Experience editing short-form social media content
Basic motion graphics and animation skills
Knowledge of current social media trends
Experience creating promotional, product, lifestyle, or e-commerce videos
Basic understanding of YouTube thumbnails and social media graphics
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Canva
