Job Overview:

BCforward is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Onboarding Specialist to manage end-to-end onboarding for U.S. and global clients. This role supports recent hires from offer acceptance through start date, ensuring all documentation, screenings, and compliance steps are completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate has strong English communication skills, experience with U.S. onboarding/compliance, and can comfortably handle multiple systems in a fast-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding & Compliance:
Initiate and manage background checks and drug screenings as per U.S. regulations and client requirements.
Collect, review, and track new hire documentation including:
Form I-9, W-4, state forms
Client-specific onboarding documents
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local U.S. regulations.

System & Data Management:
Enter and update employee data accurately in ADP Payroll and other onboarding systems.
Maintain consistent data across platforms such as ADP, Salesforce, eRecruit, and VMS tools.
Keep onboarding records always updated and audit ready.

Coordination & Communication:
Partner with Account Managers, internal teams,



and stakeholders to ensure candidates are cleared before start dates.
Communicate onboarding progress, screening results, and timelines professionally and confidentially.
Coordinate start dates, reporting instructions, and onboarding milestones.

Reporting & Process Improvement:
Provide daily onboarding status updates, highlighting risks or delays.
Escalate issues proactively when needed.
Support process improvements, special projects, and onboarding initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in onboarding, HR operations, compliance, or customer service.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Robust attention to detail and ability to work with urgency in a high-volume environment.
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
Experience with onboarding or ATS platforms such as:
Salesforce Service Cloud, Asymbl, Essium, Xenqu (or similar)
Experience working with U.S. background check vendors such as:
HireRight, Sterling, Edge Information Management (preferred)
