Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer to manage day-to-day operations of our machine shop. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, process execution, quality control, and ensuring timely delivery of components as per specifications.
Key Responsibilities:Plan and monitor daily production activities in the machine shop
Ensure optimal utilization of machines, manpower, and resources
Interpret engineering drawings and ensure accurate manufacturing
Oversee measurement and inspection of components using standard instruments
Maintain product quality as per defined standards and customer requirements
Coordinate with design, quality, and maintenance teams
Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce rejection
Ensure adherence to safety and operational guidelines
Key Requirements:Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience in machine shop operations (CNC/VMC/Turning/Milling)
Solid knowledge of production planning and process control
Valuable understanding of measurement tools (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
