Position Overview

We are seeking a agile and organized Transport Incharge to oversee and manage our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics and transportation management.

Responsibilities
Fleet Management: Manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles, including scheduling maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Driver Management: Recruit, train, and supervise drivers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Route Planning: Develop productive transportation routes and schedules to optimize delivery times and costs.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate transportation activities with other departments, such as procurement and warehousing.
Cost Control: Monitor and control transportation costs, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of transportation operations.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all transportation safety regulations and standards.
Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency procedures for handling transportation incidents.
