Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Utility Draftsman to join our team in Thiruverkadu, Chennai. In this role, you will prepare accurate shop drawings, utility layouts, and as-built drawings for high-value GCC utility and infrastructure contracts, working in close coordination with project engineers and site technical leads.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built layouts, and alignment plans for infrastructure utilities (wet/dry services, storm drainage, water networks, and roads).
Model terrain, pipe networks,



and corridor profiles using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
Incorporate revision comments from clients, consultants, and local government authorities.
Maintain strict drawing registers, file naming protocols, and version controls.
Support engineering calculations including Material Take-offs (MTO), Quantity Take-offs (QTO), and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
Ensure strict adherence to CAD standards, client quality management procedures, and project timelines.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Experience: 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in civil infrastructure and utility drafting.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD (mandatory). Knowledge of Revit or Navisworks is an added advantage.
Domain Knowledge: Prior experience drafting wet/dry services, drainage, and road networks. Exposure to GCC/UAE local authority standards (e.g., DEWA, RTA) is preferred.
Notice Period: Immediate joiners or candidates with notice periods under 30 days are strongly preferred.
