Job Title: Legal Officer
Experience : 0.6 to 5 Years (Banking or NBFC sector preferred)

Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Legal Officer to join our head office team in Sirohi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling legal matters related to financial and regulatory compliance, loan recovery, documentation, and litigation support. Prior experience in Banking or NBFC companies is preferred.
Role & Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and vet legal documents including loan agreements, contracts, notices, and affidavits.
Ensure company compliance with applicable laws and regulations, particularly those relevant to NBFC operations.
Coordinate with external legal counsel for litigation and recovery cases.
Represent the company in legal proceedings if required.
Handle matters related to SARFAESI, arbitration, NPA recovery, and debt settlements.
Maintain records of legal documentation, case files, and legal correspondence.
Provide legal advisory and guidance to management on potential legal risks and strategies.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
Keep updated with changes in laws, regulations, and industry practices.
Qualification & Skills
Graduation in LLB / LLM
Sound knowledge of Banking & NBFC-related legal frameworks.
Valuable understanding of SARFAESI Act, DRT, Arbitration, Civil & Criminal Laws.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and drafting abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Proficient in MS Office and legal research tools
