Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 3+ years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, GST compliance, taxation, invoicing, and financial record management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9 and Tally Prime and possess strong knowledge of GST and Income Tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally ERP 9 and Tally Prime (Latest Version).
Maintain books of accounts and assist in monthly and annual financial closing.
Prepare monthly GST workings and ensure timely filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns.
Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase invoices and resolve GST mismatches.
Ensure compliance with GST laws and maintain statutory records.
Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR).
Prepare and issue Tax Invoices, Credit Notes, and Debit Notes.
Record customer receipts and account for collections against invoices.
Process e-invoices and maintain accurate accounting documentation.
Manage petty cash transactions and maintain supporting records.
Perform bank reconciliations and vendor/customer ledger reconciliations.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal departments during audits and statutory compliance.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
Solid working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 and Tally Prime.
Good understanding of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and accounting principles.
Experience in GST return filing, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
Knowledge of e-Invoicing and financial documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience in handling audits and statutory compliance.
Knowledge of payroll processing will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting best practices.
