Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hands-on training sessions for students on industrial robotic systems and applications.
Plan and deliver structured Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) on robotics and automation.
Develop training materials, lab manuals, and course content in line with current industry standards.
Provide theoretical and practical instruction on robot kinematics, programming, and control systems.
Guide students through mini-projects, simulations, and real-time robotic tasks.
Operate and maintain industrial robot setups and training rigs.
Stay updated with the latest industrial practices, robot models, and industry 4.0 technologies.
Evaluate participant progress and provide feedback for improvement.
Support curriculum design and collaborate with academic staff for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering fields.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience working with industrial robots or in robotics education/training.
Robust understanding of robot programming, automation workflows, and industrial safety standards.
Proficiency in using robot simulation software (e.g. KUKA Sim Pro).
Preferred Skills:
Experience conducting workshops or FDPs in academic institutions.
Familiarity with smart factory concepts, PLCs, and IoT integration in robotics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
