Project Manager – Municipal Waste Management & Operations

Location: Mohali, Punjab.
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee and drive the day-to-day execution of a municipal solid waste management project. The role will involve managing field operations, teams, fleet, municipal coordination, data/MIS and overall project performance.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end municipal waste management operations and ensure timely execution of project plans.
Manage and coordinate supervisors, field teams, patrol teams, collection teams and vehicle operations.
Plan and monitor manpower deployment, routes, shifts and daily operations.
Monitor fleet performance, including tippers, mini-tippers, RATs, patrol vehicles, JCBs and other equipment.
Track and improve GVP/bulk waste clearance, collection efficiency and route adherence.
Coordinate with municipal officials and other project stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
Monitor project performance through dashboards, GPS, MIS and field reports.
Prepare regular operational reports, KPIs and management updates.




Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements and corrective actions.
Ensure accountability, discipline and performance across field operations.

Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Management, Operations, Engineering, Environmental Management, Public Administration or a related field.
3+ years of experience in project management, operations, logistics, municipal services or a related field.
Robust team management, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, MIS and operational dashboards.
Experience working with government/municipal bodies or large field operations preferred.
Willingness to undertake regular field visits and work in a fast-paced operational setting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
