This is a full time hybrid role for a Traffic Manager / In-charge at Guardians Xpress. The Traffic Manager / In-charge will be responsible for day-to-day logistics management, coordination of transportation services, and overseeing the movement of goods. Hiring all type of vehicles from Open Market / Brokers and placing the vehicles at client places , Placement of vehicles from Nagpur and near by industrial area to across Pan India.
Key Responsibilities
Arrange market vehicles for as per client requirement to across Pan-India.
Develop a strong transporter/vendor network for cost-effective vehicle procurement.
Ensure timely placement and movement of vehicles as per requirement.
Maintain a database of reliable transporters and suppliers.
Resolve operational issues related to transportation delays, route planning, and vehicle availability.
Robust vendor management and negotiation skills.
Monitor freight market trends and optimize transportation costs.
Expertise in route planning, cost control, and risk management.
Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety guidelines.
Address escalations related to vehicle shortages, transit delays, or operational bottlenecks.
Qualifications
Graduate/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Min 5 to 10 years exp into Traffic (Vehicles Placement from Open Market to across India)
Experience in handling road transport operations.
Valuable knowledge of vehicle types, freight rates, and route planning.
Proficiency in MS Office and transport management software.
Proven experience in large-scale vehicle placement for Pan-India transportation.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Industry Mandate - From Transport Industry Only
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Nagpur, Maharashtra (Nagpur)
