Mechanical Design Engineer – Job Description
Design Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), assembly lines, conveyors, and automation

systems.
Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Prepare assembly drawings, detail drawings, and fabrication drawings.

Perform engineering calculations:

 Motor sizing

 Pneumatic cylinder sizing

 Belt and chain calculations

 Bearing selection

 Linear guide selection

 Structural strength verification

Select standard components:

 THK/HIWIN linear guides

 SMC/Festo pneumatic components

 Servo motors and gearboxes

 Sensors and safety components

Prepare:

 Bill of Materials (BOM)

 Purchase specifications

 Technical documentation

Coordinate with:

 Electrical engineers

 PLC programmers

 Manufacturing

 Assembly

 Customers

Support machine assembly, testing, and commissioning.

Resolve design issues during production.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
