Job Summary:
A Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at a construction or project site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and according to specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily site activities and workforce (labour, fitters, riggers, etc.)
Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, plans, and specifications
Monitor project progress and report to management
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and vendors
Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment
Maintain site discipline and productivity
Enforce safety regulations and ensure use of PPE
Conduct site inspections and quality checks
Resolve on-site issues and delays
Maintain daily work reports and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Solid knowledge of construction/site operations
Ability to read drawings and technical documents
Valuable leadership and team management skills
Basic problem-solving and decision-making ability
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
Positive communication skills
Education & Experience:
Diploma/Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
2–5 years of experience in site supervision (industry-dependent)
Work Environment:
Construction sites, industrial projects, or fabrication sites
Outdoor work with exposure to weather conditions
Requires mobility and supervision of multiple activities
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹11,068.83 - ₹32,875.02 per month
