Position Overview
SGIS is seeking a agile, experienced IBDP Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction across both Analysis and Approaches (AA) and Applications and Interpretation (AI) at SL and HL. The ideal candidate will inspire a deep appreciation for mathematics through inquiry-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, student-centric IBDP Mathematics lessons.
Guide and mentor students through their Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays (EEs).
Integrate technology effectively, including Graphic Display Calculators (GDC).
Collaborate with the IBDP Coordinator and department faculty on curriculum mapping.
Contribute to campus life through co-curricular activities, pastoral care, and CAS support.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics. A B.Ed. or teaching certification is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years of direct experience teaching IBDP Mathematics (SL/HL).
Skills: Strong communication skills, deep understanding of IB criteria, and official IB workshop training (preferred).
