RM | PM | NPD Procurement

Location: Khatraj, Kalol, Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Industry: Nutraceutical / Pharmaceutical / FMCG Manufacturing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage end-to-end procurement of Raw Materials (RM) and Packing Materials (PM).
Handle procurement requirements for New Product Development (NPD), including sourcing samples and materials for trials and commercial launches.
Identify, develop, and manage reliable vendors for RM and PM.
Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate price, quality, MOQ, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
Ensure timely material availability as per Production, PPC, and NPD requirements.
Coordinate with R&D;, NPD, QA, QC, Production, Stores, and Finance for smooth procurement operations.
Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.




Develop alternate vendors and drive cost optimization and supply continuity.

REQUIREMENTS
Graduate in any discipline; Supply Chain / Purchase / Commerce background preferred.
2–5 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase, preferably in Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, Food, or FMCG manufacturing.
Hands-on experience in RM, PM, Vendor Development, and NPD Procurement.
Robust negotiation, vendor management, follow-up, and communication skills.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Purchase systems.
Strong ownership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
