Scan items, provide price information, and process payments accurately using cash registers or electronic scanners.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision and integrity.
Ensure that all transactions are processed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Balance cash registers at the end of each shift and ensure that any discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including removing any debris or spills.
Answer customer questions and provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.
Assist customers with bagging their purchases and provide carryout service as needed.
Collaborate with other team members to maintain an effective and pleasant shopping setting.
Report any issues or concerns to the store manager or supervisor.
