Finance Controller

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to manage and strengthen the financial operations of a growing organization. The role requires hands-on ownership of accounting, financial controls, reporting, and coordination with management and external stakeholders to build a robust finance function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and finalization of accounts
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support business growth
Establish and monitor internal financial controls and compliance processes
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities for audits and filings
Oversee statutory compliances including GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable regulations
Monitor working capital, vendor payments, receivables, and cash management
Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management decision-making




Support management in financial planning, cost control, and profitability analysis
Assist in fundraising, due diligence, and investor reporting, if applicable
Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting structures
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of financial data and records

Eligibility & Experience
CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles
Robust hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting
Experience in startups/NBFCs, or fast-growing organizations preferred
Good knowledge of Indian accounting standards and statutory compliances
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function
