Key Responsibilities
Part Inspection: Learn to use precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMMs) to measure dimensional accuracy.
Blueprint Reading: Study technical drawings, tolerances, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) symbols.
Defect Identification: Assist in identifying non-conforming parts and isolating the root causes of production defects.
Documentation: Record inspection data, prepare quality reports, and maintain traceability logs.
Process Support: Work with senior quality engineers to conduct first-article and in-process inspections on the shop floor.
Compliance: Adhere to company safety rules, 5S standards, and ISO quality management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a technical certification in CNC Machining.
Skills: Solid mathematical and analytical aptitude, high attention to detail, and basic computer literacy.
Experience: Fresher to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or machine shop workplace.
