The Front Office Executive is responsible for providing excellent guest service by handling guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, attending telephone calls, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant guest experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally.
Maintain accurate guest records and update the Property Management System (PMS).
Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly or escalate when necessary.
Process payments, prepare bills, and maintain cash transactions accurately.
Provide information regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Monitor room availability and maximize room occupancy.
Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner.
Prepare daily reports and shift handover reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Front Office operations (preferred).
Freshers with positive communication skills may also apply.
Skills Required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Proficiency in computer applications and hotel PMS software.
Strong customer service orientation.
Good problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions
Rotational shifts, including night shifts.
Standing for extended periods may be required.
Work during weekends and public holidays as per operational requirements.
