· Supervise the day-to-day operations of the hostel.

· Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all residents.

· Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations.

· Monitor student attendance, entry, and exit records.

· Allocate hostel rooms and maintain occupancy records.

· Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and hostel facilities.

· Address residents’ concerns, complaints, and grievances promptly.

· Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security staff to ensure proper upkeep of the hostel.

· Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards are maintained.

· Monitor food quality and coordinate with kitchen/catering staff where applicable.

· Handle emergencies, accidents, medical situations, and report incidents to management.





· Organize meetings, orientation sessions, and recreational activities for residents.

· Maintain hostel records, registers, reports, and inventory.

· Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding resident welfare when necessary.

· Ensure compliance with institutional policies and applicable safety regulations.
