Role & responsibilities
Perform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) simulations for high-speed interfaces (e.g., DDR, PCIe, USB, SerDes).
Analyze TDR, eye diagrams, crosstalk, insertion/return loss, and PDN impedance.
Collaborate with hardware design teams to optimize PCB stack-up, routing, and component placement.
Work with simulation tools such as HyperLynx, Cadence-Sigrity, Keysight ADS, Ansys SIwave, or equivalent.
Review and validate schematics and layout for SI/PI compliance.
Generate detailed reports and present findings to cross-functional teams.
Support lab validation and correlation of simulation results with measurements.
