Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping for assigned clients recording purchases, sales, expenses, receipts, and payments
Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and trial balances
Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) for assigned clients
Prepare TDS computations and assist with TDS return filings
Support payroll-related compliance (PF, ESI, skilled tax) as required
Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, vouchers, and supporting records
Coordinate with clients to collect data/documents needed for accounting and compliance
Escalate discrepancies or issues to the Manager in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with internal checklists, SOPs, and statutory deadlines
Assist seniors during finalization of accounts and statutory/tax audits
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com); CA/CMA Inter (pursuing or discontinued) is a plus
1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or compliance work
Experience in a CA firm or accounting services workplace preferred (freshers with robust fundamentals may also be considered)
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic income tax provisions
Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software, and MS Excel
