JOB TITLE: New Part Development
Dept: Industrial Engineering
Job Summary:
Engineer responsible for development of current machined parts on CNC Turning, HMC and 5-Axis machines, including process planning, tooling, fixture development, trials, process validation and production handover while meeting Quality, Cost and Delivery targets.
Responsibility & Authority:

Current Part Development
Develop machining processes for current components on CNC, HMC and 5-Axis machines.
Study drawings, GD&T; and specifications.
Prepare process flow, SOPs, setup sheets and control plans.
Select cutting tools, fixtures and work holding.
Support CNC programming and prove-out.
Conduct trials and first-off approval.
Optimize cycle time and machining parameters.
Coordinate with Design, Quality, Production, Purchase and Tool Room.
Maintain development documents.
Lead new product industrialization.
Develop fixtures, gauges and poka-yoke.
Introduce automation and new technologies.
Drive Lean, Kaizen and cost reduction.
SAP work for routings & MDB creation.




Knowledge required:
Knowledge of CNC Turning, HMC and 5-Axis machining.
GD&T;, cutting tools, fixtures and metrology.
CAD/CAM and CNC controls (Siemens).
Lean Manufacturing.
Basic knowledge of quality tools, safety standards, and data analysis (MS Excel).
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and team coordination.
Ability to drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
Valuable planning, execution, and time management skills.

Job requirements:

Education required:
Bachelor's Diploma / degree in Mechanical
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
SAP

Experience required: 8+ years
