Role & responsibilities
Prepare the endoscopy suite and equipment before procedures.
Assist gastroenterologists during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopes and accessories as per established guidelines.
Monitor and maintain endoscopy equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Prepare patients for procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure assistance.
Maintain accurate documentation and procedure records.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards.
Coordinate with nursing, biomedical, and housekeeping teams for smooth unit operations.
Manage inventory of endoscopy consumables and report equipment issues promptly.

Preferred candidate profile
Diploma/Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT), Endoscopy Technology, or a related allied health discipline.
1 - 3 years of experience in an Endoscopy Unit or Gastroenterology Department.
Knowledge of endoscope reprocessing, sterilization, and infection control practices.
Valuable communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
