Role & responsibilities
Lead development of electrical systems for XL-UUV platforms, including power management, propulsion, illumination, vision, communication and associated embedded systems, following internationally recognised standards
Analysis and evaluation of circuit designs based on simulation studies and ensure robustness of electronic systems.
Oversee manufacturing, assembly, and testing of electrical modules in accordance with defined standards and protocols.
Lead selection of electrical and electronic components aligned with system requirements and operational conditions.
Develop and guide embedded systems including digital, analog, and microcontroller-based designs.
Preparation of product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising the information




Maintaining a database of design & manufacturing processes, testing protocols, failure logs, repairs and BOM
Support in vendor selection and vendor management
Preparation and tracking of project timelines and budgets in addition to the other general project management aspects of the department
Development of high-voltage, high-power systems
Work alongside mechanical, software and manufacturing teams to design and develop the product
Establish structured engineering processes, workflows, and best practices within the electrical engineering team
