Role & responsibilities
Lead the overall plant operations, including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Engineering, Stores, and EHS.
Manage versatile packaging processes such as Rotogravure/Flexographic Printing, Lamination, Extrusion, Slitting, Pouching, and other converting operations.
Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality standards and on-time delivery.
Improve OEE, productivity, capacity utilization, machine efficiency, and manpower productivity.
Drive reduction in wastage, rejection, downtime, customer complaints, and overall conversion costs.
Monitor raw material consumption, yield, inventory, and operational costs.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance systems to maximize equipment uptime.
Ensure adherence to quality systems, SOPs, statutory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and Six Sigma practices.
Review plant KPIs and take corrective actions to address performance gaps.
Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain,



Purchase, HR, Finance, and other functions for smooth plant operations.
Build, develop, and lead a high-performing plant leadership team.
Prepare and manage annual plant budgets, CAPEX, cost-saving initiatives, and expansion projects.
Ensure strong employee engagement, discipline, and industrial relations within the plant.
Drive automation, process improvements, and technology upgrades to enhance plant efficiency

Preferred candidate profile
Strong knowledge of the flexible packaging manufacturing process
Proven experience in managing large-scale plant operations
Robust leadership and team management skills
Excellent understanding of production planning, quality, maintenance, and cost control
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience in operational excellence and continuous improvement
Commercial and business-oriented mindset
Strong decision-making and stakeholder management skills
