Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interactions and Cross functional workflows management in projects
Design and develop automotive air vent systems (center, side, defrost, rear)
Endtoend plastic component design including housings, bezels, knobs, frames.
Kinematic parts design for vanes mechanism
Concept, feasibility, master section, and detailed part design
Packaging & integration with HVAC ducts and IP substrate
CFD and FEA requirement adaption
Apply DFM/DFA, Injection mold tooling feasibility, and Mold Flow insights
Prepare design releases, EBOM/PBOM, and manufacturing drawings
Support DFMEA, GD&T;, tolerance stackup, and DVP activities
Manage CAD data and change control (ECR/ECN)
Participate in design reviews with customers and crossfunctional teams
Skills Required:
Solid plastic injection molding design knowledge
Handson experience in CATIA V5 (Surfacing & Solid Modeling)
Kinematic simulations for mechanism in CATIA V5
Understanding of airflow, mechanism functionality, gap & flush
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
CATIA V5-Primary
Siemens NX -secondary
B.Tech/ M.Tech in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering
