Role & responsibilities
The Costing Assistant will be responsible for preparing cost sheets, monitoring production and operational costs, maintaining costing records, and supporting the finance and costing team with accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare product and process cost sheets.
Monitor material, labour, and overhead costs.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly costing reports.
Coordinate with production, stores, and accounts departments.
Maintain costing records and supporting documentation.
Assist in inventory valuation and stock reconciliation.
Ensure accuracy of costing data in ERP/Excel.
Support budgeting and variance analysis.
Perform other costing and accounts-related assignments as required.
Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel to all company units.
Positive analytical and numerical skills.
Robust attention to detail.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
