Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Quality specializing in Black Fabrication within the steel fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will lead the quality assurance and control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) for black fabrication processes.
Ensure adherence to ISO standards, welding codes, and fabrication specifications.
Conduct quality audits, inspections, and root cause analysis for non-conformities.
Collaborate with production, design, and project teams to maintain quality benchmarks.
Manage NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), dimensional checks, and material traceability.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Train and mentor quality team members on best practices and compliance requirements.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports,



and certifications.

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Production Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum 12–15 years in quality management within steel fabrication, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Robust knowledge of welding standards (ASME, AWS, IS codes) and fabrication processes.
Expertise in NDT methods, material specifications, and inspection techniques.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 3834, and other relevant quality standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Attributes:
Experience in heavy structural fabrication for industrial projects.
Exposure to ERP systems and digital quality tools.
Ability to handle client audits and third-party inspections.
