Salary: Up to ₹70,000 per month (Depending on Experience & Last Drawn Salary)
Role Summary
A reputed IB School in Powai, Mumbai is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Lab Assistant (Chemistry) to support the Science Department in conducting practical sessions and maintaining laboratory operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Chemistry and hands-on laboratory experience, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical sessions.
Assist teachers and students during laboratory experiments.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety standards, and inventory.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of chemicals.
Maintain records of laboratory equipment and consumables.
Coordinate maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols.
Assist during practical examinations, projects, and science exhibitions.
Qualifications
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or related Science discipline.
2–5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
Prior experience in a school laboratory will be preferred.
Good knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling.
Desired Skills
