Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Playwright Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Playwright, and REST Assured to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing robust automation frameworks for web and API testing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright with Java.
Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks.
Perform API automation testing using REST Assured.
Create and execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration test suites.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers for issue resolution.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
Prepare test plans, test cases, test data, and automation reports.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage.
Required Skills
4 to 10 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation.
Strong programming skills in Java.
Hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Framework.
Experience in API Automation Testing using REST Assured.
Strong knowledge of TestNG/JUnit.
Experience with Maven/Gradle build tools.
Familiarity with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket version control systems.
Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Robust debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
