A Day in the Life

As an Assistant Manager for Direct Tax, you will be a key player in our Corporate Finance team in Mumbai. You will be responsible for driving direct tax and transfer pricing compliances, managing assessments and litigation, and acting as a strategic business partner to ensure our financial operations are seamless and compliant.

You Will Be Responsible For

Tax Compliance & Reporting:



Leading the preparation and filing of tax audits, transfer pricing reports, and income tax returns, while ensuring all TDS/TCS obligations are met accurately and on time.
Assessments & Litigation: Managing all tax assessments by preparing data, filing timely responses, and representing L’Oréal before tax authorities. You will also prepare and file appeals and brief senior counsels.
Financial & Business Partnership: Calculating tax provisions for financial statements, supporting group tax reporting, and providing expert advice on tax clauses in commercial agreements.
Process Excellence: Driving tax digitization and automation projects to simplify processes, minimize risk, and ensure adherence to Group policies.
