Job Description: Senior Sales HR Business Partner

Function: Human Resources – Sales Vertical

Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Sales HR Leader who will own the people, performance, and culture agenda for the entire sales organization. This is not a transactional HR role - it is a strategic business partnership focused on building a high-performance, high-growth sales culture, ensuring aggressive but achievable target-setting, and developing sales talent from hiring through succession.

Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Management & Target Achievement
Ensure every sales team member consistently achieves 80-90% of target at minimum, through structured performance tracking, coaching interventions, and accountability systems.
Partner with sales leadership to set aggressive, exponential targets grounded in real market potential - not arbitrary growth percentages - using market sizing, territory potential, and historical trend data.
Build a performance dashboard/cadence (weekly/monthly reviews)



to track individual and team performance against targets in real time.
Design and implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) for underperformers with transparent timelines and support mechanisms.
2. Talent Acquisition for Sales
Own end-to-end recruitment for all sales positions - define role-specific competency frameworks, design assessment/interview processes, and ensure right-fit hiring (skill + cultural fit + hunger for targets).
Build a predictive hiring model - using past high performer profiles to define what "right" looks like for each role level.
Reduce time-to-hire and improve quality-of-hire metrics for sales positions specifically.
3. Culture Ownership
Be the custodian of sales culture - define, articulate, and institutionalize a high-performance, growth-oriented, accountability-driven culture.
Design culture rituals: recognition programs, performance celebrations, town halls, and peer-learning forums.
