Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP FI/CO configuration, implementation, and support, with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design and implement solutions, conduct testing, provide end-user training, and support post-go-live activities across enterprise SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FI/CO solutions (AS-IS and TO-BE processes).
Configure and support SAP FI modules, including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Accounting (AA)
Bank Accounting
Taxes and Dunning
Configure and support SAP CO modules, including:
Cost Center Accounting (CCA)




Internal Orders (IO)
Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
CO-PA (Profitability Analysis)
Work extensively on cross-module integrations with MM, SD, and PP, including GR/IR, Invoice Verification, Revenue Recognition, and Settlement processes.
Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) and collaborate closely with ABAP development teams.
Create and execute Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and support defect resolution activities.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities, reconciliations, and internal controls.
Develop functional documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and provide end-user training sessions.
Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests through ITSM tools while ensuring SLA compliance.
