Role Description

We are seeking a technically skilled Support & Quality Engineer to join our growing medical device company. This role is responsible for ensuring software changes are understood, verified, documented, and released with confidence. The role bridges developers, business teams, QA partners, and operations to improve software quality, release predictability, operational readiness, and production reliability across integrated systems.

The primary objective is to own the final stages of the software delivery lifecycle by providing Level 1 support, coordinating quality verification activities, and facilitating reliable software releases. This role ensures changes are validated, documented, operationally ready, and aligned to business priorities before and after deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for incoming support tickets and production issues.
Support & Ticket Management
Review, triage, route, and prioritize issues based on severity, business impact, and business unit priority.
Clarify reproduction steps, expected behavior,



actual behavior, workplace details, and operational impact.
Perform initial troubleshooting using logs, dashboards, Grafana dashboards, alerts, observability tools, and lower environments.
Maintain ticket ownership, status visibility, documentation quality, and SLA compliance.

Quality Verification & Testing

Design, execute, maintain, and document test scenarios, test plans, and test cases for integration of software solutions.
Validate changes in stage and pre-production environments, including functionality, regression, backward compatibility, and acceptance testing.
Verify integration flows, APIs, messaging behavior, data flows, feature flag behavior, and critical business processes.
Partner with QA, Business Analysts, stakeholders, and other testing teams to coordinate testing and expedite release readiness.
