Job brief
We are looking for a category manager to drive growth across all channels(D2C,EBO,Marketplaces and Other offline channels). This role’s responsibilities include category strategy and planning , owning pricing and promotion across channels and collaborating with channel leads and supply chain team(Buying/Sourcing/design) and leading the team. You should be a responsible manager with an analytical and strategic mind and have a broad knowledge of the business. If you’re also committed to productivity and compliance, we’d like to meet you. Key Responsibilities:
Category Strategy
Go deep, understand where opportunities are and drive the growth- From merchandise strategy to market research and GTM planning to execution
Know the market/customer/competition: Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on size, internal capabilities, Understand connected customer behavior, develop current customer insights, Understand on-line and off-line players. React as and when necessary in an appropriate manner
Influence the leadership: Convert strategies into action by liaising with cross-functional leadership and drive the changes required
Merchandising And Sales
Own pricing strategy based on market potential, consumer insights, margins, Inventory doh and ageing or competitive signals
