A PCB Designer is responsible for transforming electronic circuit schematics into manufacturable physical layouts using CAD tools (example – Cadence) , ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. They play a critical role in electronics manufacturing, bridging the gap between circuit design and production.

What You Will Do
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with customers, engineers, and project stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into PCB layouts.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with mechanical engineers, signal integrity (SI) experts, and power integrity (PI)
teams to ensure designs meet performance and reliability standards.
Layout Design: Create PCB layouts tailored to customer specifications, balancing manufacturability, cost, and performance.
Supplier Engagement: Collaborate with suppliers to resolve EQ (engineering queries) and ensure tooling and Gerber file resolutions align with production capabilities.
Quality Assurance: Validate designs against industry standards and customer expectations, ensuring smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in PCB layout design, working with industry-standard CAD/EDA tools.
Technical Foundation: Robust understanding of electronic circuits, signal integrity (SI), and power integrity (PI),PDN.
