Must have skills:
Deep cloud expertise with hands-on experience in GCP (Azure + GCP experience is a plus) including compute, storage, networking, and managed services
Distributed systems knowledge: Understanding of distributed system design patterns, consistency models, fault tolerance, and scalability principles
Terraform: Hands-on Terraform and configuration management (GitHub, ArgoCD, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) experience
Automation & Scripting: Robust coding skills in Python, Go, or Java to automate manual tasks.
Container orchestration: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Podman and container-based deployment patterns
Observability expertise: Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
CI/CD pipelines: Experience building and maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines
SRE Principles: Manage high-severity incidents and implement preventive measures. Define Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs)
