This role offers the chance to influence a growing Microsoft Fabric platform while partnering with teams across multiple regions, including close collaboration with stakeholders in the UK.
Your key responsibilities as a Principal Engineer will include:
Audit and standardise existing Microsoft Fabric workspaces, ensuring alignment with approved architecture, governance standards, security requirements, and naming conventions.
Build a model domain reference implementation, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, end-to-end data pipelines, semantic models, and reporting capabilities.
Assess all existing Fabric workspaces, develop migration strategies, classify migration approaches, and deliver prioritised migration plans.
Configure and govern OneLake Catalog capabilities, including metadata, endorsements, sensitivity labels, ownership information, and self-service discovery features.
