UKG is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise storage infrastructure and a passion for reliability, automation, and scale. As a member of our Private Cloud Storage team, you will design, implement, and manage on-premises storage platforms across both VMware and OpenStack environments, supporting UKG’s SaaS platform at enterprise scale. You will partner with engineering and operations teams to build robust, automated,
and compliant storage solutions that meet the demands of a complex, multi-datacenter environment. If you have a strong background in SAN/NAS/Object storage, infrastructure automation, and large-scale enterprise environments, we’d love to hear from you.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage on-premises storage infrastructure solutions supporting UKG’s SaaS platform across VMware and OpenStack environments
Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of storage services through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and risk mitigation
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) practices for storage provisioning and lifecycle management
Implement and manage automation tooling to streamline storage operations, provisioning, and incident response
Monitor and optimize storage infrastructure performance, availability, and cos
