The Need
For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM’s Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a Regional Legal Affairs Coordinator, South Asia to strengthen legal operations, governance, strategic coordination,



and project management while enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of legal service delivery across South Asia.

The Regional Legal Affairs Coordinator, South Asia will play a critical role in supporting IJM's legal and governance functions by coordinating strategic initiatives, managing legal operations, facilitating executive support, and strengthening collaboration across regional, country, and global stakeholders. This role will help ensure effective legal service delivery through solid project management, operational coordination, and governance support.

The role will support legal operations across South Asia through a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities:
Executive & Strategic Coordination:
Support the Regional Counsel in coordinating strategic priorities and legal initiatives.
Manage calendars, meetings, leadership engagements, and regional touchpoints.
Track key deliverables, action items, and project milestones.
Prepare presentations, reports, briefing
