BU / FUNCTION DESCRIPTION (AUTOMOTIVE)

ROLE OBJECTIVE
Design & Development of automotive connector system.

RESPONSIBILITIES





Responsible for design and development of Connectors based on customer requirement for Automotive application.
Responsible for preparing and presenting design reviews per manufacturability, update
design per suggestion and keep record.
Responsible for choosing standard parts, features, material as per internal guidelines which
would meet the internal / customer target process and cost.
Manage a team of product development engineers and be technically proficient to deliver projects
Verify the design (plastic parts) which involves 3D modelling (Concepts/APM models), Proposal /detail drawings for costing / production, conducting basic simulation study.
Responsible to conduct design reviews and design optimization.
Responsible for final release of parts / drawings for Manufacturing
Work closely with customer/sales/PM in getting the right and explicit VOC (voice of customer), make engineering evaluation/proposal to customer.
