Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Software Architect who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance software. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between high-level architectural vision and low-level code implementation.
Unlike a pure manager, you will remain deeply involved in the code. You will own the technical design for major features, enforce coding standards, and solve the complex problems that stall development teams.



You will work closely with the Associate Technical Manager (who handles delivery/metrics) while you ensure the technical integrity of the solution.
Responsibilities
Take full architectural responsibility for specific products or core modules (e.g., the Production Planning Engine or Payroll Calculation System).
Translate business requirements into technical design documents (TDDs), defining data models, API contracts, and class structures before coding begins.
Proactively identify "spaghetti code" or technical debt in our legacy Java/MSSQL systems and design protected refactoring plans to modernize them.
You are the final approver for critical code merges. You do not just check for bugs; you check for maintainability, security, and scalability.
Deep dive into database execution plans (Oracle/MSSQL) and application logic to optimize slow queries and reduce latency.
Enforce consistent design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Observer, etc.) across the
