Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Looker data models and dashboards.
Design, develop, and maintain LookML models, including views, explores, and dashboards.
Build intuitive, high-performance dashboards and reports to enable self-service analytics for business users.
Develop reusable semantic models aligned with enterprise data standards and governance practices.
Optimize Looker queries and dashboard performance for large-scale datasets, especially on Snowflake or cloud data platforms.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency by validating data pipelines and coordinating with data engineering teams.
Implement row-level security (RLS) and access controls to ensure secure and compliant data access.
Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles.
Support production deployments, issue resolution, and ongoing enhancements to reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Experience





Strong hands-on experience with Looker (LookML, dashboards, explores, and reporting).
Expertise in SQL and ability to write complex, optimized queries.
Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake (preferred), Big Query, or Redshift.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (dimensional modeling, star schema).
Experience in performance tuning and query optimization in BI/reporting environments.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models and tools like JIRA.
Positive understanding of data validation, testing, and troubleshooting techniques.

Nice to Have

Exposure to data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
Experience with Snowflake-native features (views, access controls, performance tuning).
