About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled ClickHouse Database Expert to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and managing high-performance analytical databases using ClickHouse. You will work closely with data engineers, backend developers, and DevOps teams to build scalable data platforms that power real-time analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain ClickHouse database clusters.
Optimize complex SQL queries and improve database performance.
Develop efficient data models and partitioning strategies.
Monitor database health, performance, and storage utilization.
Implement replication, sharding, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ClickHouse with data pipelines.
Ensure database security, availability, and scalability.
Automate database administration tasks using scripting tools.
Required Skills




3–6 years of experience in Database Administration or Database Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with ClickHouse in production environments.
Expertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
Positive understanding of OLAP databases, columnar storage, and distributed systems.
Experience with replication, sharding, partitioning, and indexing.
Knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
Experience with ETL pipelines and data ingestion tools.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, Airflow, or similar data technologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience working in Agile environments.
