About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting activities The role of the Senior Accountant is focused on accounting functions within the Accounting Department. Primary responsibilities include compilation of data related to journal entry processing,
reconciliations and analysis that support creation of the financial statements and management reports. The Senior Accountant also supports and participates in system implementations and financial audits. This position requires collaboration with others within and outside of the Finance organization.
Role Responsibilities
Responsible for timely input in producing the monthly financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for review by upper-level management. Prepare additional reports as required, quarterly and at year-end.
Perform complex reconciliations of various general ledger accounts. Investigate and resolve reconciling items, working with the appropriate
Prepare monthly journal entries as required.
Document and maintain accounting procedures related to areas of responsibility.
