Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Apache Kafka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications in a distributed workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8/11/17.
Design and implement Microservices using Spring Boot.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
Build scalable and high-availability distributed systems.
Integrate messaging solutions using Apache Kafka.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Follow secure coding and software engineering best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Required Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (Java 8/11/17).




Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
Understanding of Distributed Systems and High-Availability Applications.
Knowledge of Secure Coding Practices.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Important Eligibility Criteria
Candidates currently working on CITI projects or who have worked on CITI projects within the last 12 months are not eligible.
Candidates who have taken the CITI Bank Karat Test within the last 6 months are not eligible.
