Conquer AI deploys production-ready AI systems for FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 clients. We're scaling fast, and a client in India needs an AI Engineer who can take LLM-powered products from prototype to production, sitting inside their engineering team.
The reality of this role This is hands-on build work, not research. You'll design and ship LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows, build RAG pipelines, integrate and fine-tune models, and expose AI capabilities through APIs the wider engineering team can use. You'll be in office with the client's engineers, not presenting from a deck.
What you'llown
Design, build and ship LLM-powered applications and agentic workfows
RAG pipelines built on vector databases
Integration and fine-tuning of models (OpenAI, Gemini or open-source LLMs)APIs (FastAPI and similar) that put AI in reach of the wider engineeringteam
Prompt engineering, and evaluation of output quality and safety
Who you are
3+ years in software or ML engineering, with recent AI/LLM projectwork
Strong Python, plus LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar
Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate or similar)
Experience integrating third-party model APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic)
Solid grounding in prompt engineering, RAG architecture and fine-tuningPyTorch experience with fine-tuning or training is aplusMLOps experience (evaluation pipelines, monitoring, versioning) is aplus
Where you're coming from AI Engineer, ML Engineer or Software Engineer who's moved into applied AI and LLM work. Bonus points if you've done client-site consulting or contract work before.
