Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP BW on HANA Support Consultant to provide application support, troubleshooting, and optimization for SAP BW systems running on HANA. The role involves incident management, performance tuning, data modeling support, and ensuring smooth daily operations of the BW landscape.

Key Responsibilities
1. Production Support
Provide L2/L3 support for SAP BW on HANA systems
Monitor system health, data loads, and process chains
Resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within SLA
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions
2. Data Management & Monitoring
Monitor and maintain data loads (ETL processes)
Analyze and fix issues in process chains, DTPs, InfoPackages
Ensure data consistency and integrity across BW layers
Support delta load issues and data reconciliation
3. Performance Optimization
Analyze query performance and optimize long-running reports
Work on HANA-based optimizations (code pushdown, AMDP, calculation views if applicable)
Tune BW models (InfoProviders like ADSO, Composite Providers)
Handle database-level performance issues
4. Modeling Support
Support BW objects such as:
ADSOs
InfoObjects
Composite Providers
Open ODS Views
Assist in minor enhancements and change requests

Transport & Release Management
Manage transports across landscapes (DEV → QA → PROD)
Ensure proper documentation and approvals
Support production deployments and hypercare
6. Reporting & Frontend Tools
Support SAP reporting tools:
SAP BO (Web Intelligence, Analysis for Office)
SAP SAC (optional, if relevant)
Troubleshoot query/report issues
7. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain technical documentation
Ensure adherence to ITIL processes
Support audit and compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization, implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
